We needed a wall knocked through between the kitchen and dining room, and part of the disused kitchen converted into a cloakroom and cupboard area.

Richard and his team completed to time and budget and the work looks exceptional, we are very pleased with the result. With parents staying with us most of this time they were very conscious that they kept noise and dust down to a controlled level, and always tidied after themselves. Additional works has been done which they suggested, and this is all for the better as the job looks fantastic!

We wanted to have major interior works done on our house, including removing a fireplace, capping a chimney, reworking lighting and sockets, fitting new ceilings and flooring, major re-plastering, fitting new internal and external doors, and installing bespoke fitted units. Richard offered a service where he would manage all of these different things for us.

Firstly he spent a lot of time understanding what we wanted, advising us would work best, and preparing a thorough estimate. He was clear about where he couldn't give an accurate estimate, and why not.

We had all three downstairs rooms and one bedroom out of action at the same time. It could easily have made for frayed tempers but Richard and his team were a pleasure to have around. They arrived on time every day, worked hard, consulted us fully as work progressed, and cleared up every afternoon. We actually missed them when the work was finished!

Everything was completed to a very high standard. There were even a couple of occasions when something was good enough for us but not good enough for Richard and his team!

We really can't recommend them too highly, and wouldn,t hesitate to use them again.”

Richard and colleagues completely refitted our kitchen and undertook some additional work replacing ceilings in our main bedroom and hallway, relocating/ replacing our boiler and converting the old unused boiler space into usable cupboard storage. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen, designed and fitted by R S Aston. Although we had very specific requirements, there was never any sighing and tooth sucking. They just got on with it and put together the kitchen we have always wanted. We were particularly impressed with how they co-ordinated the work, bringing in an electrician and someone to make and fit the door at exactly the right time, so there was no delay in getting the work done. Their advice on colour schemes, kitchen appliances, lighting, and everything else down to tiles and cupboard handles, was invaluable. Richard and his team are polite and friendly, and very understanding of the fact that there were dogs in the house who might bark at them and who couldn't be allowed to escape because a door had been left open. I think the dogs missed them when they'd finished the job. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a first class professional job carried out by experts at a very competitive price.

The service, care and attention we received from RS Aston from their first visit for an estimate through to completing the kitchen was exceptional. We required a wall removing an RSJ putting in and the whole kitchen, family room, utility room and cloakroom refurbished.

Not only was the craftsmanship and attention to detail exceptional (comments from visiting friends and neighbours as well) but the advice we were given whilst making such difficult large decisions was perfect, helping us to avoid what would have been bad decisions on reflection.

Despite finding some surprises (from the original builders poor work) the whole project was delivered within 5% of the original estimate and on time.
